• Assess opportunities on a per building basis and overall

• Determine the minimum capex to meet carbon reduction targets

• Communicate building operation / implementable projects

• Conduct detailed audits for 3 buildings of high consumption

Investigations

• Heating temperature requirements

• Heating system options (e.g. heat pump, electric cylinder, biomass)

• Fine-tuning of equipment scheduling and controls

• Peak demand management to limit system capacity requirements

• Practical and financial considerations for fuel switching

• Assess the consumption and savings significance of each building

Outcome

A gas consumption reduction plan to ensure gas supply into the future and to justify project capital expenditure through confirming cost savings potential.
